Thats really funny. The Greeks stole it from the Egyptians (I am half Greek, half Egyptian). You must give credit where credit is due. There is definitely some Greek influence perhaps bc all the Mediterranean cultures are similar but bellydancing is Egyptian, the costume is traditional Egyptian and so is the music. |
