The motive of this Academy Quran is to encourage youngsters to learn, to practice and to recite the beautiful Quran. It's a public program where non-muslim will be able to watch it as well, knowing the contents of the Al-Quran and the beautiful of the verses.Reciting the Quran is a part of an entertaiment, rather than karaoke & doing other stuff that is unbeneficial.

I am from Dubai.I liked the idea, أكاديميّة القرآن.At least, it is much better than 'Star Academy' and other stupid Arabic TV contest shows, which revolve around music and filth..Wish our TV stations learn from others, currently they are disgracing us with their stupid copy-cating of western programs and ideas.

no one is treating the Quran as a piece of entertainment this shows motivates people to read and memorize the Quran and recite it correctly so it a good show mashaa Allah

There is nothing wrong in goodly rivalry"and compete in goods" (quran), the sahabah used to compete with each other in good deeds, plus its a chance to show everyone that the quran is truly beutiful.
