Ralph Macchio is the only one in these films, and sorry I do not know if he is still acting.

I have a theory regarding the Mr. Myagi question: If you remember, in the first Karate Kid, he was kind of a quiet, kept to himself kind of guy. It could probably just be that he spent so little time talking to others that he didn't really practice speaking in English correctly. I mean, if I lived in France for 30 years, and I barely spoke more than 2 words in a week, I'm pretty sure my French would sound like Myagi's English. haha

That's just the way karate master has to speak. With cheese proverbs and sayings, we wouldn't have it any other way. If he said:"Gimme that hammer Daniel" wouldn't be the same as "Hammer, you must pass to me, Daniel-san"Never you mind the bit where he lived in states for 50 years. Never you mind that.

I have to admit that I love this song... but some guys just weren't meant to be in their own videos. haha

Thanks, but I meant the character. Why did the character Mr. Myagi speak the way he did? |
