Jeez all the predictable stereotyped actors and actress with no hints of humours what so ever!!!!!certainly butchered the masterpiece.

I saw the trailer for this on T.V. and thought "whoa, this is Bella Martha". I wonder how many shitty American romantic comedies are actually just remakes of European films?Seriously, I may be going out on a limb here; but I'd venture to say that Martina Gedeck probably did a much better job than Catherine. Also, some of these scenes are taken FRAME FOR FRAME from the German Film...What the hell? Do copyrights not go beyond the nation of origin? Or do American filmmakers just not care?

This was a good movie but after I saw it I found out a lot of the music from the film Life As A House was featured in it. Although Phillip Glass is listed in the credits as the film's composer? Weird. The music worked well in the film. I just wonder why the filmmakers chose the music from a film released not to long before this came out.

The music at the start of the trailer is from the movie A Series Of Unfortunate Events. The music from 0:55 to 1:23 is from the movie American Beauty. The rest? I don't know.

It's the theme from the movie A Series Of Unfortunate Events. Great movie. Much like No Reservations. |
